This Kersfield Developments project sees the conversion of the former St Angela’s care home into eight large lateral apartments and a mews house to the rear. These two and three bedroom apartments raised the bar on finishes for the Bristol market and sold off plan to downsizers, prior to marketing.
Brooks Dye Works
This exciting Acorn Property regeneration project comprises the redevelopment of the former Brooks Laundry site at St Werburgh’s, Bristol. The scheme will include 102 new build residential units and commercial/community space, enlargement of Mina Road Park and associated infrastructure improvements. The site is allocated within Bristol City Council’s development plan for housing and light industrial development, and aims to enhance the overall area removing a long standing derelict industrial site, connecting the surrounding community and helping to improve new housing supply demand in the city. This prestigious project Involved the refurbishment and conversion of a Grade II listed building together with a collection of new build houses and apartments.
Kersfield Developments Ltd is restoring this historic school building to include building 43 flats and houses across the site and inside the historic Grade II listed former school building.Five of the apartments are to be sold under the shared ownership scheme.
Stuart Court in the heart of Minchinhampton in the Cotswolds is a select development of two and three-bedroom homes designed to suit the lifestyle of the new generation of unretiring 55 plus year olds. Iesis advised on the seven-property scheme which is an extension within a private estate.

Nautica & The Bath Sea Cadets
Bath Sea Cadets’ long-standing Victorian headquarters on St John’s Road on the banks of the River Avon needed major upgrade and renovation works to make it fit for purpose. Iesis helped bring this outdated building back to life and up to modern standards by creating a practical Cadets facility on the ground floor, as well as 18 new studio apartments for post graduates on the upper floors.
This landmark redevelopment in the centre of Luton close to it’s railway station will provide 183 new apartments marketed towards technology workers in Kings Cross. The building comprises a 12-storey tower and 8-storey podium and includes for car parking, landscaped amenity space, car club and gym. Iesis Group have led the project through the design and planning stage. We are currently finalising procurement of the enabling works packages as well as the main contractor.
Fifty-three Fairmile is a high end residential scheme on Fairmile Avenue, a private gated road in Cobham, Surrey close to this desirable town’s high street. The project involved the demolition of a property before constructing a detached luxury house of approx. 10,000 sq ft. Built over three levels with interior design by Lambart & Browne, there are seven bedrooms including a particularly generous master bedroom suite, a ground floor with spacious kitchen, living and dining areas, as well as a gym and staff quarters. There is also an integrated triple garage and electric gates.
An unusual project involving the partial demolition of a restaurant in Holland Park, then building a bespoke mews house in the space demolition revealed, followed by refurbishing the existing restaurant. Working within such a constricted space presented a number of difficult challenges so Iesis produced a complex construction management plan ensuring smooth delivery of the house from start to finish.
Game, set and match for this high-end residential development of three houses situated in Wimbledon opposite this London suburb’s world famous All England Tennis Club. A prestigious address a short walk to Wimbledon Common and Village, the scheme involved demolishing two post war villas and replacing them with three properties. Exteriors were classically styled and ultra-contemporary interiors for the ultimate in luxury living created by Kubik Interior Design. The need to blending into the local area was important and so the designs featured rendered elevations with Bath stone surrounds to windows and natural slate roofs.
Spire Healthcare Nottingham
A four-storey block of student accommodation in Bath is on schedule to be built in time for the next academic year. We are working with Developer McLaren Property build 32 studio flats situated off Lower Bristol Road, which will be located next door to the 330-bed halls of residence named Twerton Mill.
Montem Square (Rosemary Lodge)
Montem Square is a collection of seven boutique residential houses in the heart of Wimbledon and close to Wimbledon Village, and the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Club. The properties are spacious and complement the exisitng heritage. The properties include a cinema room, gym together with four bedooms and ensuite bathrooms with rear gardens and sensitve planting to the front. Iesis provided Employer’s Agent and Quantity Surveying services from initial planning consent.
The original Blossom School was demolished to make way for 13 new build dwellings with external parking and lanscaping. The proposed development oversees stunning views over London and remains close to the heart of Wimbledon Village and Tennis Club. The properties a set around a central courtyard and sensitvely positioned whilst mainting privacy and security. Iesis have managed the demolition contract and a further separate enabling works package for the substructure. The next phase sees the construction of the superstucture.
Ensleigh in the Lansdown area of Bath some 15 minutes from the city centre involved transforming a former MoD site into an affordable development of over 250 properties. A mix of new houses and apartments in a range of sizes, this popular scheme has been thoughtfully designed to include green and community spaces set in landscaped grounds.
Lower Borough Walls
This project involved the demolition of an existing chapel and reconfiguration of an existing office space into 7 apartments, 1 unique house and A3 commercial unit.
This Kersfield Developments scheme comprises two traditional style four storey houses, designed by Robert Adam. Finished to the highest standards, both houses were sold off plan, before construction started. These well-appointed houses enjoy excellent views over Clifton College playing fields and have off-street parking.
Demolition of existing buildings was then followed by the deisgn and construction of 7 nr residneital units to create an gated development in the desirable Portishead location.
This Spring Capital development is located in Eastbourne comprises the redevelopment of existing office space into 77 residential units.
This project involved the reconfiguration and refurbishment of an existing office space into 17 stylish and contemporary serviced apartmenrs in the heart of historic Bath.
A new student development offering a mix of three to six bed apartments, situated on Cumberland Street in the heart of the city centre close to Cabot Circus. Divided into four maritime themed blocks – Brigantine, Schooner, Clipper and Cutter House – these fully furnished study homes are finished to a high standard with spacious open plan living, double size bedrooms, some with ensuite shower rooms. A luxury 25 studio student scheme on Longbrook Street situated in the heart of the town centre of Exeter where Iesis Group acted as Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors and Employer’s Agents as well as Civil & Structural Engineers.
Building on a long-standing relationship of some 20 joint projects, Iesis Group worked with Westend Investments in the centre of Bristol delivering a fast track office to student accommodation conversion project. The Crown House scheme took an existing office building, turning it into a series of student studios and cluster beds, whilst maintaining a commercial operation on the ground floor and basement.
Radway House, close to the centre of Bath, is a £2m regeneration project that took a disused site and turned it into energy efficient, self-catering student accommodation. The single block of five cluster flats for between four and six people, combines contemporary architecture with cutting edge interior design. Iesis’ innovative approach to delivery, involved offsite manufacturing which helped speed up the construction process as well as minimising disruption.
The Jacob’s Brewery project comprised the refurbishment of an existing building, demolition of an in-set warehouse and construction of new build student accommodation. This scheme is constrained on all sides by legacy structures making sequencing extremely challenging and requiring detailed SE assessment.
1-4 Canal Bridge
A fine example of modern, new-build student accommodation located at Canal Bridge in the popular area of Widcombe in the centre of Bath. With the development fronting onto Pulteney Road which boasts an eclectic mix of shops, restaurants and cafes, the exterior of the Canal Bridge scheme is in keeping with its World Heritage Site surroundings yet with modern interior design and features.
A complicated basement extension and complete refurbishment of an existing terraced house on Clareville Grove in Kensington. High end bespoke joinery throughout was a key feature provided by Slater London with the added challenge of installing a double height basement that extended beneath the garden. Once complete, the garden was then reinstated to include a natural lawn.
The complete refurbishment of a residential property in South Kensington featuring basement with raised ground floor which was high end with luxury interior finishes. Internal structural works included relocation of the stairs, internal walls and alterations to ceilings.
An exclusive residential development of a contemporary house on Deepdale, a no through-road close to Wimbledon High Street. Requiring demolition of an existing property before constructing the new 6,500 sq ft dwelling, it teams a traditional exterior with contemporary interiors designed by Lambart and Browne. The build featured a basement plus open plan accommodation at ground level with bedrooms above.
Widcombe Wharf & Social Club
An impressive joint venture with the Widcombe Social Club which involved the redevelopment of this former canal wharf site in the centre of Bath. This unusual mixed-use scheme incorporates 40 student rooms, and a supermarket, all features that have enabled the development of a new leisure club. Given the World Heritage status of the city, considerable planning interaction was necessary in order to arrive at a solution that would enhance the local area.
Refurbishment of two luxury maisonette apartments within the prestigious Cadogan gardens in the exclusive area of Chelsea. This project was particularly challenging owing to the neighbouring tenants remaining during the works phase both above and below the site. Key elements included an extension to the rear of the ground floor and the removal and installation of roof and roof terrace.
One Molyneux in Marylebone in the heart of London involved the redevelopment of an existing Art Deco style building into 30 contemporary apartments. Given that the scheme incorporates an entire corner plot, detailed logistics and delivery sequencing was a key element of the development.
The Music Box is an impressive, landmark 11-storey development situated in the heart of Southwark in central London. With the London Centre of Contemporary Music located on the lower levels, this 41 apartment scheme references music inside and out. White textured spines on the exterior façade and glazed white brickwork are some of the clever design features that hint at musical notes and influence.
St Dunstans Court
St Dunstan’s Court is a flagship Taylor Wimpey development involving the demolition of the old HM Court Service building situated on Fetter Lane in the Farringdon area of central London. Situated next to the Grade II listed Kings College, Maughan Library and Clifford’s Inn, this highly individual redevelopment successfully delivered 76 luxury apartments, with associated landscaping and residents’ facilities.
A fine example of how Iesis provided a full range of professional services to help kick start Coed Darcy, an ambitious scheme on the outskirts of Swansea towards the town of Neath in South Wales. This large regeneration project on the site of a former BP Oil Refinery sets out to deliver an Urban Village comprising over 4,000 new homes plus associated infrastructure. Working closely with The Princes Foundation, Welsh Government, The Local Authority and the Developer Iesis has successfully delivered the first phase of this 25-year community vision.
Clifton Down Road
The island site on Clifton Down Road in the heart of Clifton Village, provides a key focus for this stunning mixed-use development bringing a combination of open retail and restaurant space as well as 14 high-end residential units to this affluent area of central Bristol. Its urban village location determined that logistics and construction methods needed careful consideration as did interfacing with neighbouring properties.
313 North End Road
The corner plot location of this project at 313 North End Road in Fulham where the site is flanked by major arterial roads meant sequencing was a primary delivery factor. Involving refurbishment and extension, construction required the complete removal of the upper floors of the building and replacement with new mansards whilst maintaining retail operations at ground floor level.
Bolingbroke Terrace & Searcy House
This development comprises the demolition of existing commercial properties to build a mixed-use scheme incorporating 30,000 sq ft residential accommodation and commercial space. This site has a number of challenging aspects associated with complex basement, highways and party wall issues. This necessitated sophisticated phasing in order to allow occupation of a site whilst residual works were ongoing with Iesis comprehensively involved from start to finish.
Spire Healthcare Parkway
Spire Parkway is Iesis’ second collaboration with Spire Healthcare. A £9m project the challenge was to redevelop and refurbish the hospital to provide new day care facilities, endoscopy and oncology units as well as a new operating theatre. Forty patient bedrooms were also upgraded as part of a particularly challenging scheme given that the hospital had to remain fully operational for the duration of the works.
Southampton Business Centre
Iesis undertook the Development Management for the delivery of this BREEAM excellent office facility for Southampton Council. The scheme involved demolishing an existing building and the construction of 80,000 sq ft of Grade A office accommodation as well as managing all aspects of the development delivery.
Spire Healthcare Aztec West
Spire Specialist Care Centre in Aztec West on the outskirts of Bristol is the first Spire cancer treatment centre in the UK. This was a fast-track redevelopment of an existing office building to create the cancer treatment area as well as high quality treatment accommodation.
Brighton Ibis Hotel
This scheme involved the demolition of an existing casino adjacent to the railway station in the centre of Brighton, and construction of the new 140-bed Ibis Hotel. The site was constrained on all four sides by an adoptable highway and terraced buildings. Complex and careful sequencing was therefore vital to this project’s success, necessitating considerable site interrogation prior to commencement.
